Hi
Further to your comment about the Peel session that Popular Voice recorded, I actually have a genuinely excellent sounding cassette tape of this session that I recorded off FM radio at the time of the first occasion that it was broadcast.
Originally I was gonna post this on a site known as DIME (dimeadozen.org), but after trying to upload some other unreleased Peel versions by Wah!, and then after trying to query why it had been removed, finding myself involved in a very silly and pointless slanging match with an extraordinarily immature (apparently) and confrontational (definitely) 'moderator' there, I have stopped using that site.
But if anyone wants to provide me with some instructions of how and where else I could make available those songs (non-lossy FLAC audio's), please feel free, preferably by sending the instructions on how to do it to my email.
Thanks, and also ta for the interesting post, I still have the 7" single posted here (but can't listen to it on my old record player as it's broke, so tis good to be able to hear again); also went to see them play (I think it was at "Whites" or summat), and they were a great live band too !
